The base of the dress is a knit that has had ever square inch completely covered by hand. The overall effect is amazing. The dress is very heavy off the body as all that work is glass beads in different shapes and it is so heavily applied. I love the diamond print that has been created and how the black catches the light but still manages to stay somewhat subtle. The sleeves are a chiffon and that gives the dress a nice bit of airiness that offsets the dense beadwork. It is cut to skim over the body.
